| Name: james | Date: 2008-01-02 | If you have ever been on a dry swim trainer, like I have, the question about arm resistance is meaningless when you feel where the real resistance is supposed to be. It is the body core muscles (abs, lower back) that is really propelling the body by rotation strength and not the arms and legs strength working as independantly as they are low propulsion ratios... I can only compare it to hitting my golf driver 400 yards using the exact same principle of science. (Also the question about arm and leg resistance is a simple problem to solve with a simple tethering or chord pully system attached to the hand, etc.) |
